LF Broadband is pleased to announce the results of the 2025 VOLTHA Technical Steering Team (TST) election. In a strong show of community confidence and continuity, all three current representatives – Abhilash Satish Laxmeshwar (Radisys), Burak Gurdag (Netsia), and Serkant Uluderya (Netsia) – have been re-elected to serve another two-year term on the TST. The other members of the TST are Mahir Gunyel of Netsia and Praneeth Nalmas of Radisys.
Their re-election is a testament to the steady leadership and deep technical expertise they have brought to the project. As VOLTHA continues to evolve and expand its footprint in production networks around the globe, the continuity provided by this seasoned team will help ensure the project stays on track to meet operator needs and embrace emerging challenges in broadband access.
About the VOLTHA Project
VOLTHA is an open source broadband access project designed to bring multi-vendor, disaggregated “any broadband as a service” to the Central Office. It supports Passive Optical Network (PON) deployments and is already in production at major operators including Deutsche Telekom and Türk Telekom, as well as in labs and trials across a growing global ecosystem. Feedback from real-world deployments, collaborative development with vendors, and active engagement from the community ensure that VOLTHA continues to deliver high-quality, feature-rich software for operators worldwide.
